Proof Social

Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026.

What we collect

Your account: your email address and a hashed password (or, with Google or Apple sign-in, the identity those services confirm). Your profile and posts: what you write, upload and choose to show. Photos you upload are re-encoded, which removes camera and location data from them. Your brokerage data, if you connect a broker: account names, balances, holdings and transaction history, read through SnapTrade with read-only access. Proof Social never sees your brokerage password. Payments: handled by Stripe; Proof Social keeps Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers, never your card number.

What we do with it

We use it to run Proof Social: to show your journal and portfolio to you, to build the cards you choose to share, and to bill the plans you choose. We do not sell your data. We do not share your brokerage data with other members beyond what you post.

Where it lives

On Proof Social's servers, hosted on Railway in the United States. Brokerage connections live with SnapTrade under their own terms; payments live with Stripe under theirs.

Your control

You can edit your profile, delete any post, disconnect a broker (which removes the connection at SnapTrade too), cancel a plan, and delete your account -- all from the app. Deleting your account removes your profile, posts, journal link and broker connection.
