What Proof Social is

Proof Social is a social trading journal and portfolio tracker. You can post, follow other traders, keep a journal, and -- on a sync plan -- connect a brokerage account through SnapTrade so your portfolio and your trades are read into your journal. Proof Social reads your brokerage data; it never places, changes or cancels an order in your brokerage account, and it gives no investment advice.

Your account

Creating an account is free. You are responsible for what you post and for keeping your password to yourself. You may delete your account at any time from Settings and privacy; that removes your profile, your posts, your journal link and your broker connection.

Verification and plans

Verification (the red check) is a one-time purchase. Sync plans are billed monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time; a cancelled plan runs to the end of the month already paid for, after which the broker connection it paid for is removed. Nothing on Proof Social is a securities recommendation or a solicitation.

Posting

Post what is yours to post. No harassment, no impersonation, no illegal content, no selling of signals or copy-trading. Cards built from a connected broker are Proof Social's record of what the broker reported; they are shown as percentages unless you choose to show dollars.

No warranty

Proof Social is provided as is. Brokerage data arrives through SnapTrade and reflects what your brokerage reported at the time it was read. Trading involves risk; nothing here is a promise of results.

Changes

These terms may change; the date above moves when they do. Continuing to use Proof Social after a change is acceptance of it.
